Anyone who owns a flat panel TV will want to make the TV the most prominent feature in their living room. The best way to do this is by mounting the unit on a wall in the room. Not only will this make the flat panel TV the centre of attention in the room, but it will also help to improve TV viewing. Of course, to do this, you need to have a proper set of TV wall brackets.

There are different kinds of TV brackets that offer different viewing options. However, the main choice when choosing TV wall brackets is whether you want the TV brackets to be fixed or moveable.

Fixed TV wall brackets

This type of TV wall bracket holds the unit flat against the wall. In addition to enhancing viewing, fixed TV wall brackets can be used for flat panel TVs of all sizes. Standard and ceiling TV brackets are the two types of fixed TV wall brackets available.

Moveable TV wall brackets

Moveable TV wall brackets allow the screen to be moved in different directions. This may provide additional viewing options to consumers but it does not always look as neat as a fixed bracket which holds the unit flush against the wall. Tilt, swivel and cantilever brackets are available.
